American gymnast Simone Biles made her comeback on Tuesday after performing on the balance beam and winning a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics. She had sat out most other gymnastic events, saying she felt her performance last week was off and did not want to jeopardize her teammates' chances at a medal, choosing to focus on her mental health.

Meanwhile, Canadians continue to race ahead of the pack with Andre de Grasse winning his semifinal in the men's 200-metre, and Aaron Brown doing the same. De Grasse also set a new Canadian record in the process with a time of 19.73 seconds.

Sport-climbing is also underway for the first time in these games, with Canadians Alannah Yip and Sean McColl hoping to bring home medals. Crystal Goomansingh has the latest on the Olympic Games.
