In Ethiopia a sustained diplomatic push is trying to bring peace to the country's northern region Tigray, with the two conflict parties reportedly holding US-sponsored talks in neighboring Djibouti. Just days ago, the ruling Tigray People's Liberation Front said it was ready for a ceasefire and peace talks with the Ethiopian government. Now, there's been more violence.
