Three British men held by Taliban in Afghanistan

The UK has insisted it will do "whatever it takes" to ensure the safety of three British men being held by the Taliban in Afghanistan.

A non profit group called the Presidium Network said one of the men was charity medic Kevin Cornwell, who had been detained in January, along with another man.

The third Briton being held is 23-year-old Miles Routledge - who had returned to the country after being rescued from Afghanistan by British troops in August 2021.
