A "driverless" bus service set to begin in Scotland will use sensors to navigate roads at speeds of up to 50mph, with a "safety driver" remaining behind the wheel to handle twists and turns.

The service will operate on a trial basis until 2025 with a fleet of five Alexander Dennis Enviro200AV vehicles.
