Paul Whiteman the General Secretary of the teaching union the NAHT says testing school pupils will be a 'huge undertaking' that will 'direct attention away from education'.

And Mr Whiteman, who speaks for headteachers, says schools should not re-open until every process is in place and they are ready, criticising the government for the last minute announcement of school closures.
