Residents of a Philippine town were left cleaning up on Monday after devastating winds and floodwaters from Super typhoon Goni struck east of the country over the weekend, killing at least 16 people and sweeping away some 13-thousand homes.
In Camalig, raging floodwater was seen on November 1 during landfall.
Typhoon Goni, which battered provinces south of the capital Manila on Sunday with gusts of up to 310 kilometres per hour, is the 18th to hit the Philippines this year and one of the strongest typhoons until it weakened Sunday night.
