The country's largest news publisher and Warner Bros. Discovery have reached a deal to launch a new television news service.

Stuff will produce a nightly television bulletin from July, airing on TV3, which will replace Newshub Live at 6pm.

But it is still unclear what happens to the majority of Newshub staff set to lose their jobs.
