Across Canada, there have been an increasing number of reports of violence by students against their teachers and educators, and some say it's in part what is causing some to leave the profession.
From physical violence to threats and even substances allegedly being dropped into teachers' beverages, the types of reports vary from province to territory, but the common response by educators and their representatives is clear: action must be taken.
