Starmer needs to work on 'key issues' to move away from Tory 'caricature'

Andrew Fisher, columnist and former director of policy to the Labour Party, says in order for Sir Keir Starmer to make himself more electable and move away from the "caricature" the Conservative Party has tried to paint of him, he needs to focus on the "day-to-day issues that everyday people are worried about".

Mr Fisher admits that in some parts of the country, people are not inspired by Labour, but Sir Keir doesn't have to be "brilliant" at the moment, he is getting by just by "not being the other person".
