Starmer: Government 'too slow' to implement lockdown in England

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has said the national lockdown measures for England are necessary, but that the government has 'repeated the same mistake' by 'moving too slowly' on scientific advice.

He said the 'human cost' of the delay will be substantial, having called for a 'circuit breaker' weeks ago.
