Speaker's error must be met with resignation, NDP House leader says

The New Democrats and Bloc Québécois say House Speaker Anthony Rota should resign after honouring a Ukrainian veteran who fought for a Nazi unit during the Second World War. 'The magnitude of the incredibly erroneous decision that was made last Friday to introduce a Nazi to the House of Commons is something that simply cannot be met with anything other than the Speaker stepping down,' NDP House Leader Peter Julian says.
