SNP leadership candidate Kate Forbes has told Sky News that her faith means she views having children outside of marriage as "wrong".

She said it was something she would personally "seek to avoid" but stressed other people were free to make their own decisions.

Ms Forbes' leadership campaign has faltered after she voiced opposition to equal marriage legislation in Scotland.
