Organisers of a vigil for Sarah Everard have lost a legal challenge after the Metropolitan Police said that the gathering would be unlawful.

The police officer, Wayne Couzens, charged with the kidnap and murder of Sarah Everard is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court.

The City of Minneapolis pays a 27-million-dollar settlement to the family of George Floyd over his killing in police custody - but campaigners say a criminal conviction is needed.

The families of three fishermen who went missing more than six weeks ago are raising money to try to find them.
