SickKids Hospital in Toronto is recommending parents and caregivers of its patients get a prescription for some children's over-the-counter liquid fever and pain medicine because some pharmacies only have it in bulk quantities on account of a shortage and are having to dispense it from behind the counter. A prescription can make it easier for pharmacists to dispense the drugs.
