After a sensational claim by Hindu petitioners that a "Shivling" had been found in a pond at the Gyanvapi Masjid complex in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi, a court today ordered it sealed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held bilateral talks with his Nepal counterpart Sher Bahadur Deuba today and visited Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha during his visit to the Himalayan nation. The Southwest monsoon has arrived over the Andaman and Nicobar islands today, six day ahead of schedule, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
