She says she’s lost 45 family members in Gaza

Palestinian Canadian Hala Alshaer says dozens of her family members have died in Gaza since the Israel-Hamas conflict began. Alshaer told CBC’s David Cochrane on Monday that she had lost 35 family members in Gaza. In an interview on Tuesday night, she said that number had risen to 45. CBC News has not independently confirmed the deaths of Alshaer’s family members.
