See comeback of Maui’s historic banyan tree a year after devastating fire

A wildfire swept through Maui last year, killing more than 100 people and destroying the historic town of Lahaina. Drone footage shot in June by Los Angeles resident and Lahaina native Paul Venus shows the town’s historic banyan tree is still alive though much of the town remains in ruins.
