Australian sailor Tim Shaddock, 51, and his dog Bella are back safe and sound on dry land after being lost in the Pacific Ocean for weeks.
Shaddock was attempting to sail about 6,000 km, from the Mexican city of La Paz to French Polynesia, when disaster forced him and his pet adrift.
Global's Mike Armstrong explains how the pair became stranded, yet survived against the odds while battling exhaustion, despair and hunger.
