Scottish Labour's leader Anas Sarwar has told Sky News the by-election victory last week in Rutherglen and Hamilton West was an "incredible result".

Labour's candidate Michael Shanks has replaced MP Margaret Ferrier, who was ousted from her seat in August, following a successful recall petition for breaching COVID restrictions during lockdown in 2020.
