More than Rs 290 crore cash has been found from the hideouts of Congress Rajya Sabha MP from Jharkhand, Dheeraj Prasad Sahu. The Income Tax Department raided the locations of Sahu in Odisha and Jharkhand. During this raid, the department found crores of rupees stuffed in the cupboard. It has been told that this cash has been recovered from their homes in Odisha and Jharkhand. A video of the raid has also surfaced, in which cash can be seen. How much cash has been recovered from Dheeraj Sahu can be estimated from the fact that the notes had to be counted by conducting raids for three consecutive days. The situation is such that the capacity of the machines brought to count the notes has reduced. Three dozen machines were ordered to count the notes, which fell short. According to PTI report, officials have said that Rs 290 crore in cash has been recovered during the raid. There is no account of this money.
झारखंड से कांग्रेस के राज्यसभा सांसद धीरज प्रसाद साहू के ठिकानों से 290 करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा कैश मिला है. इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट ने साहू से जुड़े ओडिशा और झारखंड के उनके ठिकानों पर छापेमारी की. इस छापेमारी के दौरान विभाग को अलमारी में करोड़ों रुपये भरे हुए मिले. बताया गया है कि ये कैश ओडिशा और झारखंड में मौजूद उनके घरों से बरामद किया गया है. छापेमारी के दौरान का एक वीडियो भी सामने आया है, जिसमें कैश देखा जा सकता है. धीरज साहू के पास कितना कैश बरामद हुआ है, इसका अंदाजा इस बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि लगातार तीन दिन छापेमारी कर नोट गिनने पड़े हैं. आलम ये रहा है कि नोट गिनने के लिए लाई गईं मशीनों की क्षमता कम पड़ गई. नोट गिनने के लिए तीन दर्जन मशीनों को मंगाया गया था, जो कम पड़ गईं. पीटीआई की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, अधिकारियों ने बताया है कि छापेमारी के दौरान 290 करोड़ रुपये कैश बरामद किए गए हैं. इन पैसों का कोई हिसाब नहीं है
