Speaking in Vancouver, B.C., on Thursday, former defence minister Harjit Sajjan addressed a report by the Globe and Mail that he instructed special forces to rescue Afghan Sikhs, calling the allegations “utter BS.”uate as many vulnerable Afghans as possible,” which he said included religious minorities.

Sajjan added that he doesn’t think he would be fielding such questions “if I wasn’t wearing a turban.”

He said he was contacted by many different group as the government carried out its plan to evacuate those fleeing Taliban rule during the fall of Kabul.
