Sam Tarry MP - who was sacked by Sir Keir Starmer after appearing on a RMT picket line this week - says it was a "fundamental mistake" to ban Labour MPs from supporting strikers.

Labour said it dismissed Mr Tarry as shadow transport minister because he gave an unauthorised media interview.

Mr Tarry spoke to Sky News from a Communications Workers Union picket line in central London.
