Russian “Grad” rockets hit a residential area in Kharkiv, Ukraine on Monday, leaving one person dead and six others wounded, according to city officials.
The strike damaged multi-storey residential buildings, cars and a church in Saltivskyi District, according to Kharkiv emergency services.
Oleksii Konovalov provided first aid to a wounded man and woman who showed no signs of life before an ambulance took them in.
“Everybody knows that this is a residential quarter. There is not even a hint for any military infrastructure. They (Russians) just hit a residential quarter on Monday morning, when people go about their business,” Konovalov said.
