Both sides are facilitating a pedestrian border crossing in the Sumy region. And despite some fighting nearby, the crossing remains open to give people a way to return to Ukraine.

Al Jazeera’s Zein Basravi reports from the Pokrovka border crossing in Ukraine’s Sumy region.
