Russia attacks multiple cities in Ukraine ahead of Zelenskyy’s meeting with Biden

On Thursday, Russia launched a massive air attack across multiple cities in Ukraine, causing damage to infrastructure facilities and injuring at least 18 people in the capital of Kyiv, according to officials.

A video released by Kherson regional authorities showed residents cleaning up after an apartment building sustained damage from overnight Russian shelling on the southern city.

Another attack on the central Ukrainian city of Cherkasy resulted in at least seven people being injured, according to the Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

Emergency services shared a video on Telegram of rescuers digging through the rubble of a hotel that was hit by a missile, while a fire burned in the background.
