Rupee slumps to another record low today, ends at 79.37 against dollar. The currency is consistently losing its value, but experts say rupee is still an outperformer against peers. But the slump drives up our import, foreign travel, and education costs. Average annual cost of studying in the US has gone up by over 4 lakhs in just 6 months. The trouble isn't ending anytime soon, as the rupee might hit 80 soon; Twitter is seeking to overturn Indian government orders to take down content on the social media platform, a source familiar with the matter said, in a legal challenge which alleges abuse of power by officials and other top stories.
