Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says "it is not right" that when victims and other whistle-blowers came forward in previous incidents, their complaints were ignored "due to cultural sensitivity and political correctness".

He was responding to a question about the focus being placed on new plans to record the ethnicity of offenders.

Mr Sunak says the action he has announced "will make a big difference" in helping root out "grooming gangs."
