The family of Riley Strain, a university student who went missing while on a fraternity trip in Nashville, spoke Tuesday about the ongoing search for their son after his debit card was found on a river embankment.
“Our goal is still to bring Riley home,” his father Chris Whiteid said.
Strain was last seen on March 8 after being kicked out of a live music venue in Nashville.
In one of the biggest leads in the case so far, his bank card was found on an embankment not far from where his phone last pinged off a cell tower.
Metro Nashville Police said Tuesday that evidence retrieved so far has not led them to launch a criminal investigation into the case.
