On World Day Against Child Labour, in an exclusive interview with NDTV, Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi urged the policy makers to include Right to Health as part of the fundamental right of citizens. Mr Satyarthi added that COVID-19 pandemic has led to poverty and job loss across the country, resulting in children being taken out of schools and pushed into working as labourers in factories and fields. Mr Satyarthi raised a global call demanding stringent laws and exclusive departments to tackle the grave situation of child labour and child abuse.
