Italy's government is being sued by humanitarian organisations for rejecting refugees and migrants rescued at sea.
The new far-right-led government in Italy has allowed only a select number of refugees and migrants to leave two rescue boats that are moored in the Sicilian port of Catania.
The ships, with hundreds of refugees and migrants on board who have been denied entry, are refusing to leave until the decision is reversed.
