In a court filing Wednesday, lawyers for the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol wrote that there is evidence to conclude former President Trump and members of his campaign "engaged in a criminal conspiracy" to defraud the U.S. in seeking to overturn the 2020 election results.
