In an exclusive interview to NDTV, US climate envoy John Kerry called the target 'ambitious' and said, "We have the leadership of people like PM Modi and others who are saying we are going to do this, we are going to set an example. 450 GW of renewable energy by India is a major challenge and an accomplishment and I am confident India will be able to do it."
