Almost a year after Afghanistan fell to the Taliban, the Canadian special immigration program for Afghans is nearing capacity.
Many of those who were instrumental in helping Canadian troops and aid agencies while in the country remain in hiding, looking for a way out of danger.
Advocates and families with relatives still in the country are once again calling on Ottawa to do more to get people out. Abigail Bimman has the story.
