Inflation in the Eurozone has hit another record high, with the latest figures showing prices rose 10.7 percent in October.
The figures are a source of concern for governments across the bloc and will fuel more debate about what the right policy response should be. Last week the European Central Bank raised its interest rate by three quarters of a percent in an attempt to slow down price rises. Officials acknowlede this could increase the risk of recession but say taming inflation needs to be the priority for now. Russia's continued war in Ukraine is the major driver of price rises, but other factors are also at play.
