Putin says Biden better than Trump for Russia: "More predictable"

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview on Wednesday that he preferred Joe Biden to Donald Trump as U.S. president but was willing to work with any leader "who the American people have confidence in."

"He is a more experienced, predictable person, a politician of the old school," he said.

The Russian president also spoke about his recent interview with Tucker Carlson, saying he left their chat unsatisfied at the lack of tough questions.

"To be honest, I thought that he would behave aggressively and ask so-called sharp questions. I was not just prepared for this, I wanted it, because it would give me the opportunity to respond in the same way," Putin said.
