A Russian court has sentenced fierce anti-war critic Vladimir Kara-Murza to 25 years in prison for treason and denigrating the army.
The United Nations’ rights chief, Germany, and the British government have condemned the sentence against Kara-Murza, who is a dual national of Russia and the United Kingdom.
Moscow says Wagner mercenary units have captured more areas of Bakhmut as fighting ramps up in the besieged eastern city.
Slovakia has handed over all 13 MiG-29 fighter jets it had pledged to Ukraine, the Slovak Ministry of Defence says.
