Many private hospitals and PGI has stopped the free treatment service to the patients under "Ayushman scheme" by Punjab government as they claim Punjab government has not paid them the dues, which is said to be 16 crores in total. The hospitals has been unable to give free treatment since 4 days and government has maintained silence on the matter.
