Thousands of angry Armenian protesters have rallied in the capital Yerevan over the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's decision to sign a Russian-sponsored agreement with Azerbaijan to end fighting in the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Protesters are demanding he cancels the agreement, which allows Azerbaijan to keep land it captured during the recent six weeks of fighting and shrinks the area Armenia captured in 1994.
Defying martial law that bans street rallies, protesters scuffled with police in Freedom Square, calling Pashinyan a "traitor" and demanding his resignation.
