Priya Ramani and her husband Samar Halankar spoke exclusively to NDTV after a landmark verdict acquitted her in a defamation case over her tweet two years ago, in which she had called out former minister MJ Akbar a predator. Priya Ramani said it was a vindication especially as, in her case, she - the victim - had been made the accused. Samar Halankar also talked of the importance of speaking truth – even when against a powerful minister.
