Philippines rolls out Sinovac jabs, but faces scepticism

The Philippines COVID-19 vaccination programme is under way.
Healthcare workers in Manila were among the first to get doses of the Sinovac jab developed by China’s Sinovac Biotech.
But medical workers have been reluctant to take the vaccine because of its efficacy rate. Hospital workers have said public policies to use Sinovac raised doubt about whether they were being provided safe and highly effective vaccines.
