Hundreds of protesters burnt effigies of presidents of the Philippines, the United States and China in Manila on Friday, marking 155th anniversary of the Filipino leftist revolutionary leader Andres Bonifacio.
Protesters marched through the Mendiola street in front of the Malacanang Presidential Palace before heading to the US Embassy in Manila.
"Duterte is not capable of running the affairs of the country. He should step down, especially with so many human rights violations that he has unleashed," Chairperson of the May First Labour Movement (KMU) Elmer 'Bong' Labog stated.
