A fresh wave of anger against President Emmanuel Macron's pension reform plans has erupted in France. Macron plans to raise the minimum retirement age from 62 to 64 by 2030.

To condemn the plan, hundreds of thousands joined traditional International Worker's Day or May Day demonstrations. The Interior Minister claims more than a hundred police officers were injured in clashes with protesters nationwide.
