Authorities in Pakistan say at least 52 people have been killed and dozens injured in a suicide bombing in the province of Baluchistan.

The blast struck a religious procession, that was marking the birthday of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Officials had previously asked police to be on high alert, saying militants could target rallies commemorating the event. A second explosion has been reported at a mosque in the northwest of Pakistan. So far there've been no claims of responsibility for either attack.
