A plaque has been unveiled at The Fortune Theatre to honour heroine Hester Leggatt, who has been celebrated for her involvement in Operation Mincemeat.

The operation has been turned into a musical, which tells the story of how British intelligence used the corps of a homeless man during the Second World War to deceive the Germans as to where the Allies would launch their invasion of western Europe.
