Ontario Premier Doug Ford unveiled on Thursday the province's 3-step reopening plan, which will begin around the week of June 14.

“This is being done slowly and with extreme caution, that’s the only way it will work,” Ford said.

Phase one of the reopening will see the resumption of some outdoor activities and retail shopping but with restrictions.

It will also increase outdoor gathering limits to 10 people and permit outdoor dining with a limit of four people per table.

Zoos, religious services, outdoor fitness classes and splash pads will be allowed to reopen as well, with more activities expanded and restrictions lifted in the next steps.

Although the reopening roadmap officially begins after several weeks, the province is reopening outdoor recreational amenities this Saturday such as golf courses and tennis courts.
