There's been heavy fighting in the Sudanese capital Khartoum just hours after a three-day truce ended.
The army claims it made some gains in Omdurman against the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces.
Meanwhile, the warring sides have been holding talks in Saudi Arabia, to agree on a new ceasefire for the Eid holiday later this month.
