'Olympics boycott' puts US hypocrisy & pettiness on display (Full show)

US athletes will be competing in the Olympic Games despite the official US boycott of said international event over alleged human rights abuses in China. Faran Fronczak compares the news to tit-for-tat boycotts that occurred during the Cold War and points to the hypocrisy and pettiness oozing from the White House. There have been no such boycotts since 1988, and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki will be “rooting from home.” Faran Fronczak (00:11) has some advice for the Biden administration if they would truly disrupt “business as usual.” It will take more than US diplomats forfeiting their usual front-row seats, and it would be considerably more inconvenient for the corporations who wield the real power in Washington.
