Former U.S. president Donald Trump arrived in Ohio on Wednesday, where he visited East Palestine, which was the site of a toxic train derailment.

Trump and other Republicans have been critical of the Biden administration’s response to the Feb. 3 crash of a Norfolk Southern-operated train loaded with toxic chemicals.

"Biden and FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) said they would not send federal aid to East Palestine under any circumstance — they're not going to send aid. I thought that was a strange statement because I've been working with FEMA for a long time — four years — and they were great with us," Trump said.

"FEMA said, specifically, this doesn't meet the criteria," Trump added. "When I announced that I was coming they changed their tune."
