Police Scotland officers who failed to spot a murder victim had been shot could face a misconduct inquiry, a former senior detective has told Sky News.

Recently-retired Brian Low, 65, was discovered dead on a secluded path near Aberfeldy, Perthshire in February. Police assumed he had died from natural causes but a week later discovered gunshot wounds and launched a murder inquiry.
