Another tragic morning unfolds in the central area of Gaza, particularly in Nuseirat refugee camp, where an overnight attack targeted a UN-run school housing hundreds of displaced Palestinian families. A residential house in Nuseirat was also destroyed, with at least 39 Palestinians reported killed in the attacks. Bodies of the deceased are being laid on the ground and inside the morgue of Al-Aqsa Hospital, now operating at three times its capacity. Families at the hospital report receiving no prior warning before the attack. One grieving mother lamented, “We sought protection at UN evacuation centres, but we have been attacked.” It seems there is no safe place across the strip.

Al Jazeera’s Tarequ Abu Azzoum joins us live from outside Al Aqsa hospital in Deir el-Balah to discuss the latest updates.
